cleaning concret run

This may sound like a stupid question .
My coop sits on concret and i was woundering what to use to clean it /the concret
and yes the chickens have the garden roam when im home

Jet washer?
2 x Buff Orpington's, 1 x Wheaton Maran, 1 x Welsummer's, 1 x Silver Laced Wyandotte, 2 x Cream Legbar's, 2 x Light Sussex, 2 X Cuckoo Maran's, 2 X Copper Black Maran's .
2 x Labrador's (chocolate)

thanks i do use the hose ,i meant is there anything like a bleach or somthing

you can use bleach if you want but as stated a jet washer is the best thing to use on concrete it will remove all dirt and any algi growth ect.

You can get patio cleaner which is quite effective on concrete. Probably not necessary though as Jet washes on their own do a good enough job.

Aylesbury x Campbells, a breeding colony of Dubia cockroaches.

And a lot of Ibuprofen.

If you do use bleach, make sure that the area's thoroughly rinsed afterwards :thumbright:

Go easy with pressure washing....make sure you don't get minute splashes in your eyes, and don't breathe in fine spray by mistake.
I was very ill for over a week after a keen jet wash of a concrete floored coop/run.....never again.

You could also use Jeyes Fluid (if you can still buy it) or Poultry Shield.

I've not seen jayes fluid for sale anywhere I've always got an eye open for it just in case I come across some, strange? But we haven't got the hardware shops now like we used to have.

i normally by my jeyes from scats/mole valley but i did see it in b&q yesterday too

B and Q definitely do Jeyes fluid. £10 I think for a big tin of it.

Thanks guys don't normally shop in B&Q I send hubby ;) so I will pay a visit. Not got home bargains in this area so will deffenetley get some thanks :grin:
