With natural clay and stone-age style firing they should hold up well.
Altsteirer, Bielefelders, Welsummer bantams, Silkies and Muscovy ducks (sold a load of them :) )

I made and fired some rune stones at the weekend. I didn't spend too long making them, I just wanted to see how they'd luck and hold up with casting. I think they look alright, they feel nice to hold and i've threw them about quite roughly and they're holding up.

here is a pic, it's slightly out of focus as it was taken without flash to show of their colours...
