out of 4 lambs 3 are now in front of my fire, the other is with mum in the garden

Your lucky your late in lambing, my friend lost 160 sheep and lambs in the bad snow last week. He has only had his own sheep 4 years but has a lot of good quality pedigree texels, and managed to get his stock up to 600 before the snow.

Oh dear... I hope everything gets better from now on. I find that disasters often happen in clusters, and then things settle down. Good luck with it all.

oh dear, hope things are better from now own. We were lucky, only have 3 ewes and all had healthy twins, phew! but next year will be our first year with first time mums, I really hope we don't get and that abandon. We had a first time cow just walk off and leave her calf last year, getting them to bond was a challenge!
