I know they prefer alkaline soil but will potting them in ericacious compost do them any harm? :?:

I think the stuff added would soon leach out with watering, I'd try it and see! :-)

Lavender self seeds all over my garden in all sorts of colours - but I can't grow heather, it just won't take. :?
