New hen laying issue?

Hi my 25 week old ranger hybrid hen started laying last Tuesday everyday but on Saturday I found a soft egg with no shell in bottom of coop under the perch. Until now she has not laid any eggs? Need advise and help please! (Muddy run)

Hi my 10metre run has turned into a mud bath with the recent weather, what can anybody recommend for floor covering? The run is not covered so always gets rained on.
For the time being will the hens be ok they are muddy!!

Really quiet, lovely colour when when the sun shines on her she really is a lovely colour! but yeah she seems the quiet one compared to the other birds but comes running over with the rest of the birds when I come out with the corn! All of my hybrids I can hold and stroke but too be honest the blue ...

Thanks, they are all really tame and come running over when I go out, they are that tame my wife us a childminder so that's a morning routine with the children, let them Out, fresh water, feed out and collect eggs, the children love it! Yeah my ginger laid at 9am then my rhode rock laid at 12 pm, how very rewarding is that!!

What type if eggs do rangers lay? As I know it's her egg was tiny! And will she lay 1 per day?

Thank you, I used a pretty simple idea on pvc coated wire fencing and metal stakes, works well and is pretty sturdy.

Hi I have built a 10 metre run so with a large perch and a cd on string, dust bath etc..
Lots of layers pellets and plenty of water,
And lots of grass/weeds

I see yeahs rhode rock is laying, so my ranger could lay any day? Soooo excited!! Are hybrid rangers good layers? Are they brown eggs?
How very addictive and entertaining is keeping hens I'm hooked lol

I'm due to bring my 4 hybrids home on Saturday afternoon (woop!), do I put them straight into the coop or let them in there run first?

Hi my coop and the run is all set up ready for this weekend, however I have kept the grass in there pretty long for them to forage, there are also nettles growing aswell, shall I pull them out or are the hens ok to eat them?
