Re: Eglu or not?

See the thing that attracts me to Eglu is the no corners, no crevices and cracks..... The price however is maddening... I am shocked nobody has come up with a molded plastic cheaper option..

Anyway, I am fantasising about getting this> EGLU with run < but it is VERY expensive, before I save up and take the plunge are they worth it? Any issues at all with them? I just really fancy the idea of an easy to clean, red mite...

Winter shelter

Parts of the UK and Europe are being dusted with snow. I was wondering, do you do anything different during the winter months for your animals or is it a case of a little extra straw and feed? Have you even had snow yet? Here in Southend-on-Sea we had a 15 minute light flurry last week but that was ...

Re: Rabbits!

We have a rescue rabbit, his name is Fosters (last one was Budweiser... don't blame me blame hubby!) He is a Blue Himalayan Netherland Dwarf and was given up for adoption due to severe aggressive behaviour.... He is anything BUT agressive... he's the softest, snuggliest bunny ever... Re: Fermenting veg and stuff!

Do you know what.... they tasted like ever so slightly salty cold oiled eggs.

I was super super scared as loathe eggs, but wanted to show it was ok to eat them.

For a short ferment and a bloody healthy one, if you like boiled eggs it's worth doing!
